    Whether you are a highly accomplished model engineer or a complete novice, whether young or old, there will always be a warm welcome to new members at our club. Our philosophy is one of enjoying a hobby in the company of good friends and having an opportunity to learn new skills. You do not have to own your own locomotive to join us, as the club has two, which members can use once suitably qualified.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1640379427655{padding-top: 10px !important;}”]\n

    We meet on every Tuesday evenings (19:00 onwards) and Saturday\u2019s (10:00 onwards) in our club room which is part of the Budmouth Technology College. Steam up days, usually on the First and Third Saturday\u2019s of the month and in the Summer months on an adhoc basis on Tuesday evenings. \u00a0The 16 mm, 5\u2033 and 7 1\/4\u2033 engines and rolling stock are usually given a run out along with the various traction engines that belong to the club members raising steam.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row column_spacing=”50″ css=”.vc_custom_1489864899619{margin-bottom: 30px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1\/3″]
